Mr. Li Shilong

Li Shilong is a member of the Chinese Communist Party and a Senior Engineer. Currently, he serves as Director-General of the China Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance for Resources Recycling Industry, Vice-President and Party Branch Secretary of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch and Associate Supervisor of the China Environmental Science, Technology & Industry Working Committee. Li Shilong is also a lecturing professor at both the Jiangsu University of Technology and the North University of China.

Previously, Li Shilong served as an “Urban Mine” experts appraisal member for the National Development and Reform Commission; general expert group member for the National Ministry of Science and Technology’s special focus project on “Scientific and technical solutions for waste resources”; general expert group member for the National Bureau of Quality Inspection and National Standards Committee’s “12th Five Year Plan National Science & Technology Support Plan”; and expert group member for the National Ministry of Science and Technology’s  special focus project on “13th Five Year Plan forecast scientific and technological projects in regard to waste resources”. Moreover, Li Shilong has been involved in many national-level scientific and technological support plans and “863” project implementation activities.

An introduction to the latest status of the renewable resources industry in China, with a focus on growth patterns and related policies in four large areas: non-ferrous metals,   waste electrical and electronic equipment (“WEEE”) , re-manufacturing and waste high molecular materials.
