2017MIECF gathers top industry professionals and decision makers in the Green Building sector

Challenges on environmental protection and emission reduction to existing and new buildings calls for greater collaboration between the public and private sectors through science, technology and innovation, and to achieve sustainable growth and green business development in the era of climate change and ever-changing opportunities. 2017MIECF is pleased to establish“Green Building” as one of the key highlights in its 10th Anniversary.

Green Forum - Green Building Sessions (Day 2)

The two sessions on Day 2 (Session 4: The Way to Drive Higher Performance in Green Buildings and Session 6 (Workshop): Maximizing Energy Saving in Buildings – Efficiency and Assessment). We also invited Mr. Wong Kam-Sing, Secretary for the Environment, Environment Bureau, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as our keynote speaker for Sesson 4. Friday 31 March will cover innovative and cutting edge technology and strategies for low-energy green buildings that will benefit cities due to lower carbon emissions and improved sustainability. Participants will hear and learn about approaches to minimising energy cost in buildings, energy efficiency measures appropriate for urban areas and the key factors influencing energy expenditure, such as user behaviour. The objective is to reduce carbon emissions and enhance a transition to green cities.
