Thank you for accepting our invitation to present your paper at the forthcoming 2008 MIECF forum.  We are indeed honoured to include your presentation into 2008 MIECF forum programme.

Please note all confirmed speakers are kindly requested to submit the required submissions upon receipt of this confirmation letter online at www.macaomiecf.com or by email to the 2008 MIECF Secretariat at info@macaomiecf.com

Speaker Zone contains the navigational buttons for all necessary forms which need to be submitted by all speakers. Please note deadlines.

The list of the necessary procedures each confirmed speaker must complete includes:

1.                   Abstract submission  (Deadline: 20 March 2008)

All presenters must complete the online abstract submission forms which will be posted on the 2008 MIECF website forum programme.  The online abstract submission form must be submitted by completing both sections A & B.

2.                   Full Paper submission (Deadline: 30 March 2008)

Complete instructions for Full paper submission are provided and must be submitted by the given deadline to ensure your paper is included in the forum proceedings.

3.                   PowerPoint Presentation (Deadline: 30 March 2008)

All speakers may submit and upload a PowerPoint presentation (MS PPT 97 and later versions) of their paper to the 2008 MIECF Secretariat by the given deadline.  All PowerPoint presentations will be loaded on the forum laptops. The Technical Equipment provided in each room for electronic PowerPoint/ Acrobat Presentations include:

1- Laptop Computer
2- LCD Data Projector
3- USB Flash Drive - Memory
4- CD/DVD-ROM Drive
5- PowerPoint Presentation Remote with Laser Pointer
6- PowerPoint Presentation/ Acrobat Reader Software
7- Each Technical Presentation is 20 Minutes including Discussions  

4.                   Forum Registration (Deadline: 20 March 2008)

All speakers are required to register and attend the 2 day forum. The standard delegate registration forms must be completed and submitted accordingly

5.                   Travel Arrangements/Accommodation

Confirmed speakers are sponsored with air-ticket and accommodation room nights at the Venetian®Macao-Resort-Hotel for the period 22 – 25 April 2008.  Additional rooms nights may be booked at speakers own cost through the 2008 MIECF secretariat for your convenience.  Kindly complete the attached forms for travel co-ordination and travel reimbursement.  Forms must be supported with a copy of ticket and invoice provided by your travel agent.

6.                   Moderators

      The assigned moderators to your stream will be contacting you soon for further co-ordination.

7.                   Welcome Dinner

A dinner to welcome all speakers and delegates will be held on the evening of the 22 April 2008.   Invitation cards will be included in your forum satchels upon registration on-site. 

8.                   Accompanying Spouse

Forms should be completed to allow 2008 MIECF Secretariat make the necessary arrangements for accommodation and events spouse will be joining in. Please note all hotel rooms available to speakers are for 2 persons, without extra charge.  

9.                   Delegate and Speaker Registration

      Registration will begin 22 April

      Time:  11:00am – 6:00pm

      Venue: Foyer Hall D

10.               Other Programmes
