The China’s 14^th Five-Year Plan sets “making new progress in building ecological civilization” as one of the major social and economic development targets, pointing out a clearer direction for promoting green development and facilitating harmonious co-existence between human and nature. Since this year is the opening year of the China’s 14^th Five-Year Plan, speakers from relevant fields are invited to this session to introduce the environmental policies in the Plan.

Pan-Pearl River Delta Environmental Protection Industry Conference for Co-operation and Exchange

In order to facilitate the cooperation between Macao and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region environmental protection industry, relevant associations and their member enterprises from across the nine Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces as well as the relevant associations and industries from Macao will be invited to share their experience in this session. The exchange will focus on the leading edge of Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces’ environmental protection industries, and analyse the whole picture and demand of the environmental protection market in Macao, as well as the business environment and environmental policy. At the same time, it will also provide a platform for the two sides to conduct one-on-one in-depth exchanges, to boost the growth of green and low-carbon industries.
