Mr. Iwan Prijanto

Chair of the Green Building Council Indonesia 

Mr. Iwan Prijanto graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung in 1991 and holds a Magister of Management from PPM School of Management, Jakarta, in 2006. He started his career in 1992, his professional skills range from architectural and urban planning and design to strategic management. From late 2008 to mid-2015, he served as the Head of Urban Planning and Business Development Division of PT MRT Jakarta. 

From 2015 to date, he has been appointed as the CEO of PT DEX Solusi Transit, a consulting firm engaged in infrastructure, urban and architectural design and development, where he has been the main planner and designer of several development projects, such as: Persahabatan Hospital, Kediri Airport, Urban Transit Design for HSR Station Area in Padalarang and Urban Design Envisioning Pula Mas 300 ha.

In 2009, he co-founded the Green Building Council of Indonesia (GBC Indonesia) and was elected the Chairman from 2018 until now. He has obtained the Greenship Professional certificate (Green Building accredited professional) and required professional certificates, including MRT Station Architecture Design from LTA (Land Transport Authority, Singapore) and SIA (Singapore Institute of Architecture). He has also obtained the Senior Environmental Development Program Certificate from BCA (Building Construction Authority, Singapore). He has been invited as a speaker in major national and international seminars and workshops on green building, net zero building and urban transit infrastructure development.
