Corporations have historically proven to be successful at advancing existing business models. However, they often fail to identify new disruptive opportunities for growth and expansion. Given that the economy is being influenced significantly by digitization and modernization, it has become vital for companies to re-envision how they can operate and grow with the evolving industry. Innovation is critical to a corporation’s success by giving a competitive edge in penetrating markets faster. This session looks at how prominent environmental companies are innovating in this region, explores the gaps and opportunities in growth, and strategizing on new technologies to be a leading business in the industry.

Sustainable, responsible, and impact investing (SRI) is an investment discipline that considers environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) criteria to generate long-term competitive financial returns and positive social impact. Sustainable investors seek investment portfolios that are likely to provide important societal or environmental benefits, such as community development funds or clean tech portfolios. This session seeks to explore the green investment landscape in Asia-Pacific and discuss the challenges, opportunities, and gaps in implementation.
